TST is the country’s major producer and developer of parts and modules used in SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) and BAW (Bulk acoustic wave) professional manufacturing company. The wastewater produced as a result of the raw materials, chemicals, water, electricity and other energy sources used in our processes are properly treated by wastewater treatment plants and are compatible to current laws and regulations. The waste gases are filtered and cleaned before they are emitted, and other solid wastes are also properly treated and disposed by licensed contractors. We have committed ourselves in reducing the wastes and pollution produced and the amount of energy used. To ensure the continual existence and development of our company, and to fulfill our responsibility in maintaining the environment through minimizing pollution, we promise the following:
1. Commit in developing environmental friendly products, effectively managing limited resources.
2. Actively reduce energy consumption and waste production, and minimize the negative impact on the environment.
3. Ensure that all processes and activities are compliant with current laws and regulations.

Social Responsibility

TST is fully aware of the significance of “Environmental Protection and Environmental Awareness” as the main challenge and goal faced by all corporations in their management in the 21st century. As TST pursues further growth, we have not forgotten our corporate social responsibilities. We will continue to seek the improvement of production technology, product quality and to introduce and promote technologies to achieve the objectives of energy conservation, waste reduction and pollution prevention to demonstrate TST’s determination in environmental protection. We have also established environmental protection systems such as (ISO14001:2004). TST has already published various reports in this area periodically to disclose relevant information on our efforts in fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.

The main scope of TST action:

Respect Employees life – It is the responsibility of every supervisor and all TST employees to ensure the safety and hygiene of facilities and personnel within the scope of their duties. This applies to TST’s subcontractors, suppliers, contracted employees, outsourced employees and so forth to accomplish the objectives of “Zero Hazard, Zero Accident. ”

1. Safety disciplines – “It is my responsibility to ensure safety”. All TST employees shall abide by all related environmental protection, safe and health regulations and standards. All supervisors are to set an example for others to follow and fulfill their responsibility to supervise their subordinates.
2. Work Area Risk management – To identify risks and control risks according to their ratings through hazard distinction and risk assessment while consolidating autonomous management of safety.
3. Environment Pollution Prevention – To achieve the goals of waste reduction, energy conservation, resource recycling/reuse, Improve manufacturing process, cost reduction, and mitigation of impacts on ecology environments through source management and to establish an environment management system (ISO 14001:2004).
4. Green purchase – To establish a green purchase system and initiate supply chain management. Green materials would be given priorities to encourage suppliers to reduce wastage of resources and pollution.
5. Constantly review and audit the EHS management system – To prevail trainings in environmental protection and occupational safety and hygiene so as to reinforce TST employees’ awareness in these areas. Measures shall be taken to ensure full compliance with TST’s systems and stipulations in environment, safety and health to achieve systematic management and continual improvement in order to create an ideal working environment.
6. The corporation shall have a policy to reasonably assure and promises that the Material(s) or Product(s) provide to customer should not contain the conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit any armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”)and its adjoining countries defined in Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act, and will comply with other international conflict minerals laws and regulations. The corporation shall also promise to submit the conflict minerals report (CMRT or any international format required by customer) before the requested date.

This commitment defines TST's goals and direction in fulfilling our CSR. TST integrates this commitment into our organization and training on an everyday basis to expand employees scope and depth of our CSR activities, as well as to establish a partnership and good communication channels with our supplier. This commitment ensures that we gain the maximum synergy from external and internal resources as we put TST's CSR into practice.

 

TST's commitment to sustainable business operations

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is also a commitment to TST's pursuit of sustainable business. The company's industry-recognized "RBA Responsible Business Alliance RBA Version 5.1.1" (Code of Conduct-Responsible Business Alliance RBA Version 5.1.1) Based on this, and partner partners with the company are also committed to this area, maintain good corporate governance, adhere to business ethics, comply with labor rights, health and safety, environmental and other standards and contribute to social responsibility.

Ethics and recommendations and complaints line

◆ According to the circumstances, the company punishes or dismisses the violator. The main specifications are as follows:
(1) Do not participate in any activity that conflicts with the company's interests or have personal interests that conflict with the company's interests.
(2) Internal trading is prohibited.
(3) Strictly protect the confidential information, assets and intellectual property rights of the company, customers and suppliers.
(4) Gifts, tribute or other tributes are not allowed to be given to customers, suppliers or government officials.
(5) You may not offer, give, solicit or accept any form of bribe.
(6) Report all commercial transactions honestly and accurately.
(7) Accepting or arranging any kind of business hospitality shall be in accordance with the general business etiquette, not too frequent or causing large and unnecessary expenditures, and shall not allow the customer or the manufacturer to believe that the gift or entertainment is a necessary condition for establishing or maintaining business dealings with the company.

Labor rights
1. Workers are free to choose their careers, and the company does not force, debt-bearing, contractual or involuntary labor.
2. The company does not use child laborers under the age of 15.
3. The company's working hours are in line with the provisions of the Labor Law.
4. The salary and benefits paid by the company to employees are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including minimum wages, overtime pay and statutory benefits.
5. The company treats and respects every employee fairly and does not treat employees with inhumane methods such as brutality, insult, and abuse.
6. The company provides equal job opportunities to job seekers and each employee, regardless of race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, disability, pregnancy, beliefs, political affiliation, community members or marital status, etc. Discrimination against employees in actual work (promotion, rewards, training, etc.).

Health and safety
1. Provide employees with a safe workplace and provide employees with appropriate and well-maintained personal protective equipment and safety education and training.
2. Implement and train employees' emergency response, practices to minimize the impact of emergencies and incidents on employees.
3. Prevent, manage, track and report occupational injuries and illnesses through occupational disaster prevention programs and automated inspection programs.
4. Through engineering and management methods to control the source of hazards to employees from chemical, biological and physical factors, and to establish and operate appropriate personal protective equipment programs to protect employees health.
5. Do not allow employees to engage in high manual labor for a long time, repeatedly lifting heavy objects, standing for a long time and highly repeating or strong assembly work.
6. Risk assessment of production equipment and other machines on a regular basis, physical protection or warning devices, linkages and barriers will be provided and maintained for equipment that can cause injury to workers.
7. Provide employees with clean sanitation, drinking water and food storage facilities, and provide appropriate emergency exits, ventilation and reasonable access to private spaces.

Surroundings
◆ When designing and manufacturing various products, the company strictly controls the exhaust gas, noise and waste that may be generated in the process to reduce the environmental impact of the process. At the same time, the “Environmental Management System” was established to set performance targets for environmental management, implement treatment plans and control operations, and the management also regularly reviewed the performance of environmental management programs.
◆ The company is committed to the spirit of ISO 14001 & QC080000, not only fully complying with the environmental regulations of the location of the operation base, but also paying attention to the latest global environmental issues, taking environmentally friendly practices, effectively utilizing energy/resources to protect the environment, and continuously seeking progress and efforts. Prevent environmental pollution.
(1) The impact on the environment must be considered in any decision-making process.
(2) Enhance employees' awareness of environmental protection and encourage employees to implement their work in an environmentally friendly manner.
(3) Reducing waste through regeneration and reuse, and purchasing products using resource recovery materials, so that the rework can be used effectively and economically.
(4) Efficient use of materials, resources and energy, and cooperation with suppliers and logistics partners to take environmental protection as the direction of operation.
(5) Avoid using hazardous materials and try to find alternatives.
(6) Disabling the metal management of conflict mining areas, TST requires specific material suppliers to sign a consent form to prevent the purchase of conflict metals from the Eastern Democratic Republic of Africa (Eastern DRC) or Central Africa.
(7) We have implemented the ISO 14001 & QC080000 system and regularly review our environmental policies to continuously improve our environmental performance.
